Ian Wilkins.

Tom Martin introduced me into the 3D works of Ian Wilkins, made from printed and folded cardboard, these sculptures are so inviting and playful. I love the use of colour, the simplicity of the forms and the almost ‘roughness’ these sculptures have. I really like the visual intensity of the colour and how carefully each has been selected to emphasis the forms of these objects. I really want to play around with creating paper based shapes and to collage them together.
