3D forms.

After looking at Pimentao’s work i decided to use him as a direct inspiration and i used similar forms to his work to influence mine. I thought it would be interesting to have a shape that would become 3D within a ‘2D’ space, instead of cutting in and manipulating from there, i though it would create a feeling that this shape was peeling into the 3rd dimension. I also started to play with other shapes and flats combining them together to test compositions on the wall to get a better idea of what i could exhibit for the degree show. I am really enjoying how these are coming together but i’m worried that i will soon have too many objects that will crowd the wall and make my ambitions less clear. I feel as though something still isn’t quite working, but i will keep making and pushing these objects and more to see what happens.
